Daily Life

Time is passing & yet it seems as though it is standing still. Some days I still feel like I am barely keeping our heads above water & yet other days I feel like I got this "2 kids thing" by the tail. The only bad thing about this is I'm never sure which day I am going to get when I wake up in the morning. Does this feeling ever go away?

Probably not.

Regardless, we are managing to have some fun on these still too hot summer days.

Olivia has really started to come alive...in super cute ways and super not-so-cute ways.

Her cute way looks like this & is filled with gurgles & gaggles. She constantly has her fingers laced just so. She is obsessed with getting them in her mouth & due to the extra long nature of her fingers she usually gags herself. She loves to suck her thumb & I love that she loves it. It lulls her into a nice, long sleep where ever we may be. Zack likes to imitate her & try to get her to hold his finger. He is not happy when she doesn't cooperate & he has master turning her smiles into cries. When I tell him to leave her alone...he replies with, "But I love Livia mom." Great. How can I argue with that one? And yes, he is the only one that calls her Livia.

Her not-so-cute ways are her loud & long protests when she is over tired during the 3rd block of church. Man, yesterday she cried the entire 3rd block. So loud that I had to stand outside in the heat in my 3 inch heels settling her down. After 30-40 minutes of that business & no progress on her part I texted Scot that we needed to go. He went to get Zack out of nursery only to have him throwing a fit because we had to leave. Awesome. 2 fit throwing kids under our arms & we are out.

Zack is still freaking hilarious. Inappropriate? Probably, but funny nonetheless. Sometimes he reminds me of when Kevin was little. My siblings & I would constantly teach Kevin inappropriate things...or maybe I should just say things that were of a too mature nature for him? Regardless, Kevin has taught Zack some winners & frankly I can't help but laugh & get them on film. He repeats anything & everything he hears...these are just the "best of"

enjoy.

I love Zack's "round house kick to the face." You know one day he's going to say it to the bishop or something!

Sorry about the fits at church. Just know you are NOT alone. They put my girls together in nursery and Brooklyn flipped! Lovely. We'll have to meet at Chick-Fil-A for a Caffeine Free Diet Coke while it's hot. Brooklyn starts school next week. 2 glorious hours to myself. I'm NOT shedding a tear over that at all.
Zack is stinkin hilarious in that video. Gotta love uncles. Too funny. Hope today is a good day.

Oooh i love love love that he said Krew and Cash were his "favorite friend". I am grinning from ear to ear and will take that as the highest honor of all honors. (I, after all, have thus far raised his favorites!) Love that little Zacky man.

And Livs too, of course, but that is just a given!
