Va-Cay

I spent 5 days in Utah with my mom & one morning we woke up to snow. Yes. In May. The end of May. Huge snowflakes. Freezing weather. When I woke up & looked out the window I actually asked, "what is that?!?" Oh, duh. IT'S SNOW!

Whatever. We made the best of it. Lunch. Shopping. Movie{s}. It was rough.

Luckily the next day was beautiful.
Because this was why we were really here...my cousin's wedding. It was the perfect day & I couldn't be happier for her. She's the cutest & she snagged one heck of a guy.

And while I enjoyed myself to bits. 5 days is a long time. A long time to be away from these nuggets and I couldn't wait to get home to do this:
Tonight we unsuccessfully blew bubbles {I know...how can you be unsuccessful? Trust me...you can.} and went on a bike ride to get ice cream. The way there was smooth sailing. Zack was a bit tuckered out on the way home though. I suppose 2 miles is a bit much for a 3 year-old with training wheels. So we ditched his bike at a friend's one our way home & he rode home on my lap & surprisingly enough, it was fun.

More on being away tomorrow. I'm tired & my bed is calling my name.

good night.
