Anyway, a few things about Lindsey...
We grew up our whole lives until I was 15, she 18 sharing a room. It made for good times & bad. I remember some nights where we would laugh ourselves silly before finally falling asleep. We used to run & knock on the front door "tricking" my parents into opening it. Oddly enough, I think Lindsey's own two girls do this now, but they are only 4 & 6...I think we were still doing it at 15 & 18! We also used to push our two beds together to make one big bed sleeping night after night like that for as long as my mom would allow the room to be in disarray...which was probably like 2 nights! We did have our occasional fight (okay it was more than occasional) which meant we would divide the room into 2 & one could not cross into the others side. We even would split the vacuuming during these moments! One thing I do remember is that Lindsey would & could give you a mean dead leg. She would use her heel to inflict great pain upon you & as much as I would try to escape she was unrelenting & I'd usually end up in tears.
We only got to have one year together in high school...she a senior & me a freshman at Paradise Valley High. I'm sure I was every bit the annoying little sister, but Lindsey always looked out for me. It was a tough time for me as there weren't a lot of LDS friends in my grade & looking back I am so grateful that Lindsey was there & allowed me to always tag along. She'd take me to basketball games, football games and everything in between.
Some other things Lindsey is great at...she makes the best rolls EVER...this is her forever assignment at family gatherings. She has taken every decent picture of Zack I have...love that. She is great to have dance parties with...always picks the right song & dances as lame as me. She is also great to have around when Kevin needs a beating...we have to tag team him as he can take either of us one-on-one! She really is one of the most fun people I know. I love to just laugh with her late at night...usually eating Hershey kisses! One other thing I am grateful Lindsey taught me...drive-bys. This would be when we would wake my mom up after midnight & force her into the car with us to drive-by our current crush...don't worry this happened up until we were both married & I think there was a time Lindsey made my mom drive over 30 minutes...I am laughing just thinking about it. Sooo funny. Even funnier (this is for Linds, Bri & Hailey) remember at Hailey's shower that lady thought we were talking about the other kind of drive-bys...okay, enough I'm stopping now.
Happy Birthday! Love you!
