Survivor

Yes. I still watch Survivor & I have to say that this season has been a bit of a disappointment. Last season was just soo good. It was the absolute best. All the people had their own quirks & they all related to each other in interesting & downright hilarious ways.

Of course, James was the best.

Not only could he completely dominate in physical challenges (duh), but he was absolutely hilarious. His occupation you ask? A grave digger in New Orleans. He had such a thick New Orleans accent that they had to provide subtitles for most of his dialog. And let me tell you -- you did not want to miss a word of it, because he delivered some of the best one-liners I've heard. Kevin & I were always in stitches & we find ourselves still quoting some of our favorites...

So while we weren't preparing for much this season, we've all still been a little disappointed thus far...until last night that is. Man oh man, last night was the best tribal council I have ever seen.
Mostly, thanks to this guy, Bob...(and Sugar as well). He is one of my favorite characters this season. A 60-something year-old physics teacher. He's built benches & caught fish, but is just an all around good guy! He wears his buff as a bow tie (classic) most times & pulled the biggest spoof on the most hated character.

Introducing Randy...
an all around jerk if you couldn't tell from his picture. I won't tell the details, in case you haven't watched it yet, but as much as I hate Randy & was thrilled to see them get his goat -- it was difficult to watch. Similar to when you are watching Meet the Parents -- you're laughing the whole time, but also want to just crawl under a rock because it is so uncomfortable.

Survivor

Did you miss Survivor last night? If so, you have have have to go here & watch it. It was one of the BEST episodes...I mean really, I've never laughed so hard. If you don't have time for the whole thing, just get to the reward challenge which is the first challenge & probably in the 2nd segment. I think we replayed it over 5 times & then we had to do it in slo-mo...that's how good it was. Joel, who can best be described as The Incredible Hulk, but dumb as a rock, is paired up with Chet...who is over the top in meeting every gay stereotype & in case you think I'm kidding...his profession? A Pageant Coach. While probably a nice guy...definitely not cut out for Survivor...I mean one of the players describes him as a blob of goo that if they were in mid-evil times they probably would have already killed him for food. Anyway, these two get paired up to race a course together...and the outcome couldn't have been any better. The end conversation:
Chet: I hit my head back there.
Joel: I don't care.
Chet: I know.
I've never laughed so hard in my life. In fact, I woke up still laughing about it.

Anyway...I am loving James & Ozzy. First of all, James got voted off last time with 2 immunity idols, which I still can't get over. But look at the guy...he is a MACHINE! I love when there are physical challenges & James just beats the crap out of people. Plus, he has some of the best one liners with a heavy New Orleans accent..."you see these people, they all still playing a high school popularity contest."

And Ozzy...well he's just the man. I mean really...have you seen the guy? He can best be described as a monkey. His best comment last night? "Did you see the shark Amanda caught? Man, that is really attractive to a guy like me." Classic.
