That is the best way to describe our last week/weekend. We have been showing our house quite frequently over the last week, which has made for some hectic clean-ups! We are glad to be showing it & I am loving a constantly clean house. It is so great...although funny to have to be able to leave on a moment's notice. We've made some random trips to Target & have been frequenting Rubio's more often (Scot's favorite!)
I also had my Gourmet Group this weekend & was hosting in cahoots with my friend Taisey. It was fun to try new recipes & I was so impressed with myself. Who knew I could pull off a fruit sorbet??? It was delicious & a great summer treat. Taisey hosted at her house (and she is the real chef in this combo) and we made cute aprons has favors that doubled as placemats to give our table a bit of color. Here are some pictures of the fun...

We also started Zack on rice cereal...he did better than expected on his first go-around, but has been trying to get used to it since then. He is slowly getting better at the whole sallowing thing & getting used to the textures.

Zack has also finally begun sleeping through the night...again. We had him going on a great little schedule. Sleeping at night from 8 - 6:30. Three weeks ago, however, that all changed. He sleeps on his tummy and figured out how to roll from his tummy to his back...we quickly learned that he is not too fond of sleeping on his back, but he couldn't & still can't roll himself back over. We tried everything short of tying him into place, but he continued to roll over. This made for some frustrating nights/mornings. We practice rolling over in the day, hoping he'd soon figure it out, still no luck. Finally this weekend we decided that he's got to just work it out & realize he can sleep on his back. Needless to say, Friday night was a long one...but we're thinking he's got it under wraps & hope our nights continue to be quiet ones!
This week is looking to be just as busy as the last. Zack and I are heading up to Utah with my mom, sister, sister-in-law & all the kiddos. We are going to stop in SLC and then head up to Bear Lake to my mom's family cabin for a week. We all have all sorts of projects to work on...as well as 7 kids. Yeah...glad I only have one at this point. The drive should be interesting...it will obviously be Zack's longest & we'll see how he does.
Summer is in full swing!!!

Darling aprons Amy! Look at you and your domestic goddess self! Good luck with the cereal, sleeping, trip, and house!
Those aprons turned out great! Look what a whiz you are! Now that your house is sold, don't you want to move into our neighborhood and become my enrichment activities leader???
Little do you know Heidi that we will probably be making a stop at my parent's house until we find one of our own!
Amy, darling aprons and such a great idea to use them as placemats. I love great ideas like that, keep them coming. Congrats on selling your home and welcome back to mesa.
