Too Funny to Keep to Myself

I just got back from church (okay, I've come home a little early to put Z down for a nap)...and can I just say I love Sundays? Love 'em. I love being surrounded by so many strong & faithful people that help me to try a little harder & do a little more.

Anyway...onto the funny part of today. We are sitting in sacrament & the Scoobs has just finished his bottle & is happily jumping around on my lap. I realize now, this should have raised a red flag...bottle, then jumping...not a good combination. In reality I am just glad he isn't babbling along with his jumping. So the jumping continues as I continue to pull up my dress and pull down my skirt when it happens. The spit up that was inevitable comes tumbling out. I knew this would be a possibility & was fully prepared to wipe up the damage...however, this particular spit up, went right down my dress. It is amazing how it can navigate itself into that tiny little gap & right down the center of my dress. I froze as I felt it winding down & passed him off to Scot so that I could go survey the damage...which by that point it was already down to my stomach and absorbed into my clothes. Lovely. As gross as it is, I actually found the whole thing quite comical...gotta love the scoobs!

Good thing you were in a good mood today and could laugh at that one! I bet little Z had a big smile on his face- he's already got great aim!

You handled that one well. Once my son spit up on his Dad 3 times in a row. We were getting ready to go out for the evening and he had bathed and changed cloths in between each incident. We just stayed home.

I really do not miss those days. Hopefully you were not wearing a dress that had to be dry cleaned.
