The Nativity

I realize I completely skipped Christmas in my posting. For whatever reason it seems there is too much to post...so I just didn't post anything. Which really makes no sense at all...as we had a fabulous Christmas. So here is Christmas in snippets...1 picture at a time, 1 thought at a time.


Christmas Eve we were treated to the Christmas Story...by the grandkids. {10 in all these days} Zack was a Wise Man with Lucy.

He was delighted.

Although somewhere along the way he thought he should be Joseph too. Emma {aka Mary} was a good mother & kept all hands off her baby. Which was really supposed to be Tanner's role, but alas we used a doll instead.

All in all, it was a very sweet and tender performance by all.

And when I really get to thinking of Mary...well I get a little emotional. Maybe it is because I have an infant of my own this year & it hits close to home, but man, she's incredible. The faith, determination & strength required amaze me.
