Okay Beth...so I didn't forget that you tagged me with this assignment...but needless to say, my days have been a bit busy lately. And to be perfectly honest, I had to think about it a bit! So here we go...7 Weird Things about Me:
1. I actually have had to think about what is weird about myself & to be honest...I couldn't think of anything that I found weird. Then I thought, that is probably weird that I can't think of anything weird about myself! So that is number 1...I really don't think any of these other things are all the weird, but maybe you do!
2. I iron EVERYTHING. Seriously, a t-shirt that I am going to go running in...if it is all wrinkly, I won't wear it or I will iron it beforehand. Lame I know, and maybe having a baby will change that, but I doubt it.
3. I thouroughly enjoy doing yardwork. Pulling weeds, mowing the lawn, sweeping, trimming bushes...I love it all. This is due to my mom. I hated it growing up, but every Saturday morning she had us up and going and her famous words were, "One day you'll all love to do yardwork, it's so fun." Funny. She was right.
4. Appearances are important to me in all areas of my life. Everything including my house, myself, Scot, Zack...everything should look a certain way or go a certain way to me & if it doesn't, I'm bugged. A quick example...Zack isn't big on pacifiers & so we have been trying different ones. Scot suggested a particular one & I refuse to get it because I don't like the way it looks & don't want Zack walking around with a stupid looking pacifier in his mouth. I'd rather him just not have one, than to have a stupid looking one. One more example? Okay...I IRON CLOTHES I RUN IN!
5. I am not easily offended, but probably offend others easily. Does that make sense? For someone to hurt my feelings, that person would have to be someone really close to me (Scot, my mom, etc) and they'd have to say/do something pretty hurtful. For example, when I was pregnant Scot gave me a hard time one day saying my butt looked big (and he was being serious) or something along those lines. His mom heard him and got after him, but to be honest...I really didn't care. My butt WAS big & if it is a fact, then it shouldn't hurt your feelings. Plus, who said having a big butt is a bad thing??? I say, turn it into your biggest asset! haha...but seriously...that's how I feel. Everything is what YOU make it, so don't let it hurt your feelings. And in the future, if I say something that hurts your feelings...know that it wasn't intentional!
6. I always NEED a new bag. For real...I can never have enough & can always find a perfectly good use. I love searching for the perfect bag or even better finding a great bargain. One of my favorite bags I got at a thrift store - which I don't typically frequent...Scot's little brother is a fan though & that's why we were there. Anyway, the bag is this cute shoulder bag in a zebra print & I use it for all my church stuff on Sundays & I got it for $1...that's right, $1. Love it!
7. Okay, well I don't know if this is weird or funny, but I shall share anyway. Prior to my married life my mom, sister & I were the ultimate schemers when it came to boys. There were many a nights - late ones - spent doing what we like to call "drive-bys." Which simply means you drive by the boy of your choices' house. Nothing else...just drive by. Okay so that really isn't a scheme, because what did we accomplish? Nothing. But we were masters at being in the right place at the right time & usually in a new outfit! My mom used to have new clothes on my bed when I came home from school/work if I was going out that night with a boy she liked...mind you, if she didn't like him, you got no such treatment. She was also known to give us Christmas presents early in the event that a last minute new outfit was necessary around that time of year. We always had to return the outfit to my mom after the evening & we would find it wrapped under the tree...To: Amy, From: Greg...or whomever the boy was that we wore the outfit for. So fun!

Oh Amy. Our mother's are way too much alike and although the things you wrote about may be wierd, they don't suprise me at all. That is who you are and I think it's fabulous! Also, I'm so glad that the little man is sleeping at night- the day cooper figured day and night out was a lovely day!
Yessssss! Thanks Amy for doing it! And you're not all that weird, except for the whole ironing your work out clothes! That's borderline insane! But then again, I'm the total opposite, because I HATE ironing! Maybe that's why you always looked so polished and I'm always a slob, in my un-ironed pj's!
And you only needed to list 6 things, but I'm all about a bonus round! :)
