Coming Soon...Pool Days!

Warning: You may find this post annoying! Stop now if your tolerance levels are low!

At the request of others...here are dresses 2 & 3:

The fingers are to indicate dress "two." In case you didn't pick up on that...
Apologies for the pose that is sorely lacking in this photo op. Scot was taking longer than I thought necessary to hit the button.

Okay...with that out of the way today was a glorious day, besides the fact that it was 115 degrees, with Scoobs spitting up on me all day & my office wanting me to work more hours for the same pay...does that make any sense? Yeah I didn't think so...anyway I digress...it was a glorious day all because of this...

Do you know what that is? That is plaster going on my parent's pool which means as we speak it is being filled with crisp, clean & COOL water...just outside my window!!! I suppose since today was the first day of school & summer is "officially" over they decided they may as well get that pool filled. (okay that was a low blow...they really have been working tirelessly on it, but that just isn't as humorous). I told my mom that I was going to wake up, don my bathing suit & sit on the edge until it was full enough to float. Her response was priceless...she said, "Oh really...the water will probably be cold." As if the 115 degree heat wouldn't be enough to spur me in! Oh gotta love her. I am not certain why my excitement is bubbling over, but really it is...that is what insane heat does to you I suppose.

The water has been going since 10 am with 3 hoses & it still isn't even 1/2 way full...maybe 1/3 at most. I have probably checked its progress a gazillion times today. I just don't know how we managed all summer without my parent's pool. You can bet there will be some serious water basketball games going on here soon. My mom is already planning her Opening Day party on Labor Day...usually this party occurs on Memorial Day, but hey I'll take it.

I have officially stayed up past my bedtime AGAIN, with this blog & Scot is wondering if it really is a "serious" (as he likes to call it) addiction. Geez...I guess I'll call it a night. I about have toothpicks holding up my eyes, but there is something about having Z down & knowing he won't be up til morning. I must capitalize on that time, right? Okay...Goodnight! I am going to have swimming dreams tonight!

Good luck with the pool (I can't wait to see it when it's finished)!

Dress 1 & 2 are from Nordstrom...just in their BP department. The white dress with the brown on it came from Windsor. They all ranged in price from 38 - 50ish, with the black one coming in at a mere 38 bucks!
