All About Z
All of a sudden Z is all grown up! This weekend he spent lots of time with his cousins & he was desperately trying to keep up with the "big" kids. I have to say, he didn't do too bad of a job. Here he is spending some quality time with dad...
He found Kevin's long board in the garage & was intent on getting on this thing & taking it for a ride. The bearings (I had to ask Scot what these were called!) are quite loose, so he was in for a bit of a surprise when he jumped on all by himself & it really started going. He was much more open to some help after that.
Then he figured out he could sit on it & use his hands & feet as brakes. It was so cute...he'd get going & then lay on it like it was a surf board all the way down the driveway.
Then came the razor & he's got this thing down. Stopping, starting, turning, he's good. So good that it is not painful to go on a walk with him while he's riding it. Today we were out front & the 4 oldest grand daughters were jumping rope (you know when 2 people turn it for you) & Z saw Kevin doing some razor "moves" jumping over the rope & such. The second Kevin got off the razor Z was on it & trying to "jump," or more accurately, roll over the jump rope. It is crazy how quickly he picks those things up!
After the razor dad decided he needed to pump up the tires on the bike. As you can see Z was more than willing to help. I swear he is all boy -- going 100 miles an hour ALL the time & into EVERYTHING! He loves having dad home to play!

He really is acting like the big kids. If I didn't know better I would think he was going to hop on a school bus tomorrow. Go Z!
