Numero Dos...Coming Soon!

Upon telling both of our families everyone's first response was, "how is Scot taking it?" Soo funny if you know Scot -- he's not a big fan of big life changes, and I have to say I think he is happy if not even slightly excited by the whole thing. Shocking, I know. Sometimes I catch him doing deep yoga breaths when the subject of a new house and new baby, which is also going to warrant a new car conversations begin, but really he's handling it like a champ. Way to go babe!

For some reason, I think we are both a little more excited for the second one. Scot's excitement might be because he thinks its our last (he'll be thrilled I threw that in!), but deep down it's cause we both know how fun it is...once you get past the sleepless nights, endless laundry & that whole delivery thing.

We used our man main Z as our mouth piece. We had the shirt made (that said "I'm the BIG brother) & were planning on waiting a bit longer to tell family (they've known for about a month), but once I had the shirt in my hand I was ready to roll. So we ended up announcing it just to my mom & Scot's mom -- both dads weren't home. Kind of lame, but true. My mom caught on right away -- we've pulled this one before & she was super excited. We talked to Scot's mom via iChat...gotta love technology & she, of course, was happy as well.

So there you have the exciting news. I have to say I am thrilled about it & trying to remind myself to enjoy being pregnant (although I am wondering what there is to enjoy about it). I've had to quit my soccer team...total drag. I played until I was about 8 weeks, but stopped after I had a few too many close calls & was looking a little chubby in that tank top! Other than that everything is going great...I'm eating & sleeping lots which always feels good.

The baby will be here this spring...April or May depending on how things go. Did I tell you I was excited? I am already in love with this little bean & can't wait!
