80th Invites

I've been waiting quite some time to post these invites as I think they are my favorite ones I have done so far! I like to wait until the event is actually over before posting them, because frankly, it is kind of weird otherwise! :0

Anyway, these were for my grandmother's 80th birthday party. My mom & her 5 sisters planned a huge bash aka an Open House for all her family & friends. From what I hear it was a success! It was up in Utah this past Monday & with all the holidays & moving, we just couldn't quite get our buns up there for the trip. We were sad to sit this one out!

Here are the invites --
These are my "working drawings" so to speak. It shows everything on one page so I can see how it will all flow together.

These invitations were 5"x5" tri-folds {which gets a little confusing on the design side}.
This is the final product. Again, I am NOT the photographer in the family, as I am sure you can tell, but these give you a good idea of how they folded & their sizing.

Here they are all laid out. I printed them on a Pearl Cardstock, which I absolutely LOVE! It has a shimmer to it that dresses up any card -- you can kind of see it in the photos. Apologies for the "white-out" trick to block aunt's address...just visualize the text!

Happy 80th Grandma! We love you!

Who is this Shauna girl? I got the same message on my blog too. Thanks for the greetings, but if you don't mind, clarify how we know you.
