Arizona Winters

These pictures were taken today...83 & sunny & the calendar still reads February. This is why I suffer through the 4 brutal months of summer...albeit by a pool as much as possible, but still summer is brutal, as not all of life can take place next to a pool.

This morning Zack was cooped up most of the time as there was a "workman" doing paint touch ups on our exterior paint {thus eliminating backyard play} & we were waiting for another one to do electrical work. Once that was done, Zack was busting out that back door, just in time to catch the sprinklers.
Sometimes he has me wishing I was a kid again...he was having so much fun. He was a little timid at first as he didn't quite know what to do. Here I was taking his clothes off & telling him to go get wet when most times I am trying to keep him out of the sprinklers. But once he realized that was the game, he was all for it. The "standard" sprinkler time wasn't quite enough & while I've never even touched our timing system, I decided today was the day & we reset them a couple of times. You're only 2 once, right?
And what's not to love? We will be soaking this weather up for the next 2 months!
