Zack's First Suns Experience

Okay, I don't know that this is REALLY Zack's first Suns experience. In all reality, he's been cheering for them since he was in the womb, but this was his first trip to the Arena, so it will be the marking point. Last night we went for their Open Practice & this picture was about as exciting as it got...I know it is unusual for such a lack luster post regarding my beloved team, but let me explain.

Scot had told me about the practice last week & I promptly wrote it on my calendar...I have actually wondered how Zack would do at a game & thought this could serve as a low risk test run. Sooooo, the doors open at 6, practice starts at 7...great, we can do that. I corralled some friends into coming with their 2 kids & we got to the arena just after 7. Perfect, right? You'd think. However, we all failed to realize all the "fun" stuff happened between 6 & 7...the Gorilla, dancers & Adio Sol Patrol (those are the guys that throw the shirts). So we got there at 7, sat down, took a picture & watched 5 minutes of a scrimmage & then it was over. UGH! Slightly disappointed, but figured ah well...E for effort, right?

On the bright side, Zack was totally excited the whole time. Checking out all the sights & sounds. He was hooked & am proud to say he was looking stellar in his Nash gear...what a find that was. A Suns fan already. Love it.

Believe it or not...Target for $15. I was there on my usual run & just happened upon it. I'm sure they still have them. FYI - they run REALLY small. Zack's is size 18 mos, when really he still wears 6-12.
