Cracking Up

Lately Zack has been quite the character. He is officially 10 months, 10 days old. Man, that is crazy. Mind you, he is just going in for his 9 month well-visit on Wednesday...yep, a little behind on that one!

His personality is big...bigger than him actually. He will mimic any face or sound you should happen to make. He will steal any spotlight & loves to be the center of attention (gee, I wonder where he got that one from). Today we walked into sacrament late...only to have Zack promptly stand up on the pew, turn around & greet those around us with his biggest grin. Yes, they ate it up & entertained him with many faces in return. He will cry if you don't pay attention. He will discard any food he's not particularly fond of onto the floor. He will bend & arch his back when you approach the changing table & will also try to get his hands into every diaper you change...lovely. He loves chicken from Rubio's & Rosa's (the best local Mexican food), yet won't touch the stuff from the fridge. He also has a fondness for paninis, much to my delight, they even have onions on them! He will taste new food by sticking out his tongue & giving it a lick. If it is acceptable, he'll pop it into his mouth, if not...onto the floor. He will pick me over Scot any day of the week...this kind of ircks Scot, but I find it quite funny...except for when I am trying to sneak away...hmm. He will search out for my mom's jewelry whenever she is holding him & latch on like a leech. He will crawl away when you chase him & squeal in delight when you catch him. He will play peek-a-boo with you by stretching his shirt over his face...this game could last hours. And my all-time favorite...he will greet you (really you or anyone) with the biggest, cheesiest grin.

Needless to say...we're in love with the kid!
