A Day at Nana's

My mom's house has always been known for its treats.  Anytime the grandkids come over they immediately run to the "treat" drawer & ask Nana for a treat.  Of course, at Nana's house the answer is always yes.  While Zack was perusing through the tupperware cabinet, he happened upon the secret treat drawer...the drawer that supplies the "real" treat drawer.  Mind you, around here it has taken some effort to keep his virgin lips from treats, but we have been successful.  I thought it was so funny when he pulled out the bag of Twix (my all time favorite) & while he was really just interested in the shiney, crackly paper the symbolism was priceless.

He finally got the whole bar in his mouth & proceeded to crawl around like a dog with a bone...too funny.

Nana's house is also known for its decor and everything having its place.  And once again, it has been difficult to keep Zack's grubby little hands from exploring too much of those valuables.  After the Twix, came the plate...oops!

Love Twix. We keep a treat drawer at the level of a child that they can get in any time they want. That way we can control the real treats for the adults up high and let the little ones have as much as they want of the other treats. Grandchildren love it
