Flashback Friday -- Honeymoon

So I couldn't think of what to do today for flashback Friday when I stumbled upon my friend's page. She did her honeymoon -- so I figured I'd follow suit!

We got married in April. We were married on a Friday & back in school that next Monday. Not ideal, but it was my genius idea. I did not want to get married in May or any summer month, so April it was. We didn't go on our honeymoon for about 6 weeks -- which I have to say is the best thing we ever did. I was not a fan of this idea, but my sister convinced me it was genius & she was right.

So at the end of May we were boarding a cruise ship headed to Mexico. We did Cabo, Mazatlan & Puerto Vallarta. It was soo much fun! Scot & I were made for each other when it comes to beach vacations -- I'm not certain who enjoys it more he, or I, but we always have a blast.

This was in Cabo -- this guy totally grabbed my butt. Can you tell from the look on my face? Seriously what are you going to do when he has that huge gun strapped to him? I just scampered back to the boat! haha.
Again, this was in Cabo. These lizards were everywhere & you had to pay the people to take a pic with it. This one was actually one of the smaller ones we saw.

While we were in Cabo we went para-sailing. We got off the cruise ship, used Scot's Spanish to negotiate with they para-sailing guys & next thing you know we are 150 feet in the air with only a rope holding us to some dinging boat. What were we thinking???

Puerto Vallarta -- we hung out at a private beach all day on this stop. Everywhere we went in Puerto Vallarta the people selling stuff would yell to us "honeymooners" to try & get our attention. We obviously looked the part.

We also rented a jeep in Puerto Vallarta & drove all around the city. This was a tad scary!!! I had to tie my seat belt around me. Classic.

Props to Scot for planning an awesome honeymoon. I could do a cruise anytime!!!
