Scoobs is funny. I mean really funny.Today he was practically skipping on our way to nursery. He pranced in, took his seat & started helping to dole out snacks. He was in is element. Passing out cups & helping himself to whatever he needed. I don't think I heard a word from another kid, except him....shocker.
I told him bye & he gave me a laundry list of good byes in return...
"See ya later mom."
"I'll be right here."
"Have fun."
And with a final wave...I got his point..."get lost."
I headed into Sunday School while Scot walked the halls with Livs. Our Sunday School is HUGE & thus held in the chapel, which we practically fill.
I was sitting on the far side when I see his teacher walk in the opposite door. I think she has Scoobs, but not certain. She is headed my way and yes indeed, she has a frolicking Scoobs alongside her.
He's obviously not upset & so he must just need a diaper change.
I was sitting on the end of the pew & she discreetly hands my child over so as not to interrupt our teacher who is sharing his testimony of Joseph Smith & the sacred things that took place in the Whitney Store.
While she is handing him over, she indicates that he indeed does need a diaper change. But before she can even get it out Scoobs in is ever quiet voice announces, "Poopy Mommy! I did poopies! Mom! Poopies!"
Perfect. I think anyone in a ten mile radius heard him loud & clear as giggles broke out among the congregation.
I'm so glad I checked my dignity at the door, but we'll be going now.

That is to precious. Can't wait myself for that day. I agree with checking the dignity at the door. I think that was done the day Scoobs started talking.
Thanks for the laugh Amy! Kids sure do give you some great memories right?! I still have some time to wsit until the talking days...I wonder what awaits me? :)
