One of our favorite things to do as a family is to stay at the fabulous Phoenix resorts over summer holiday weekends. It started with my family pre-marriage over the 4th of July & has now transferred to Scot & I and his family and basically anyone else we can convince. (This weekend it was some of our favorite ward friends that joined us!) Scot and I both LOVE hanging by the pool (or beach for that matter) in a comfy lounge with a good book or gossip magazine...I guess we were a match made in heaven on this issue!This weekend we stayed at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs. It was our first time going with Z and he did awesome! Phew! We are so glad...because there are many more of these "trips" to come! He slept like a champ in his pack and play and even napped on me by the pool. What a trooper. Guess he likes the water as much as we do!
Zack was definitely pool ready...He was lathered in sunscreen, with the shade from his floater & a rash guard...gotta protect against that sun!!! He kicked back, sucked his thumb & splashed in the water.
Our room was not far from one of the secondary pools so we camped out there for the majority of the time. The greatest thing though was that our monitor reached from our room to the pool. Seeing has how we had the monitor & we could actually see our room door from the pool we actually got some precious pool time minus Zack. Ahhh...that is wonderful!
