Okay, so I am 2 days late in this post, but I figure better late than never, right? So here he is at 3 months! The pictures are compliments of my sister, Lindsey . Isn't she so talented??? I am so glad she is my sister (and not just cause I get great pictures!).
I can't believe Zack has been around for 3 months. I (and I think Scot would agree) LOVE having him around. He is such a crack up and as far as I am concerned a very happy and content baby. Seriously...he's be soo easy. I told Scot I wasn't quite sure what we did to deserve such a "good" baby, but I am taking it!
So in celebration of Zack's 3 months of life...here are my top 5 favorite memories:
1. The first moment I saw him & heard his little cry. Nothing better...except holding him for the first time. I'm not even going to expand on that...it was the best.
2. When he was about 5 or 6 weeks I was trying to get him on a schedule using Baby Wise. He was crying in his cradle & I went in to "shh" him and to be honest, I was a little frustrated and just tired...it is hard to let your baby cry. I put my hands on his little arms and began to "shh" him and he just stopped crying, looked right up at me and had a big ol' grin on his face. I just started laughing. What a cute little stinker! He was supposed to be going to sleep...instead he's grinning.
3. Scot was changing a diaper in the early weeks and just as he had his legs lifted and turned to grab another diaper Zack surprised him. Let's just say it was #2 and it shot clear across his dresser. I am not certain which was funnier, Zack's surprise or Scot's reaction!
4. Rhinoceros Tap. What is that you may ask? It is a sing along song that Zack LOVES! It is too funny. Anytime he is upset or fussy...simply turn on Rhinoceros Tap & he his alert, still & rapt with attention. Needless to say, I know every word & even have some great dance moves to it! "I have to tell you I know a ballerina rhino whose pirouettes would make you smile & clap..." Thanks to my cousin Emily for sending it our way!
5. Bedtime. I love nursing him just before bed. It is dark, quiet and peaceful. He has usually given up kicking his chubby little legs & is calm & content. It is a good time for me too...a time to think about the day & decompress. Some nights I have a hard time laying him down because I know he's not going to be so cuddly forever. He is growing much too fast!

Oh Amy, he is so precious. and you're right, they're not cuddly forever, well, just not the same way. He is such a sweet little boy, you are so blessed!
Ohmygosh, what a cutie. I assume your sister takes photos for a living. If she doesn't she should. Those are precious memories, brought back a few for me. Thanks.
Oh Amy... he is just the cutest thing. I cannot tell you how excited I am to have a new little one coming SOON. I hope I get so of those same moments. And wouldn't it be nice to have a content baby. Let's just say Kiah wasn't exactly that!
He's beautiful Amy!!
