There is definitely still a lot of kid in me & one of my favorite things to do is play in the rain. Always has been, always will be. Today Zack and I got caught in a huge monsoon while out running errands. We were taking a book back to the Barnes & Noble in Dana Park (Val Vista & Baseline). So I parked in front of B&N and made my return...then I headed down to Ann Taylor Loft...which is on the other end of the shopping center. So off we go with Zack babbling in his stroller...do a little browsing - by the way they are having a HUGE sale that you all definitely need to check out. When I walk out of the dressing room I can hear the pounding rain outside. Hmm...I have to walk outside to the other end of the center (remember I parked in front of B&N), get Z in his seat & the stroller packed up...while there was a moment of hesitation I thought...what the heck? Why worry about a tee and some flips? Threw a little blanket over Zack's legs & let him experience the monsoon under the hood of his stroller. When we got home we were already wet, so we continued to play. Zack loved splashing his little feet in the puddles and grabbing at the water streaming off the roof of the house. It was fun to see him so entranced by the noise & feel of the rain. We were soaked by the time we were done, but it was all in the name of fun!
Here's to playing in the rain!!!

I was just thinking about the rain. I LOVE to play in the rain, I love the smell and the sound. I wish it would rain here. There is nothing better then a rain storm!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it instead of worrying about it- and i'm glad you're keeping busy while you're alone this week. call is you get lonely!
I am seriously in love with monsoons. I miss them terribly. Next to my family. And friends, of course. :)
And squishing mud between your toes can't be beat.
You're a kid at heart aren't you. Where is Scott this week? Are your parent's gone also? That sucks,I hate being alone.
