Zack has been busy the last couple weeks & thus deserves an update on his antics. As you can see he thoroughly enjoys helping my mom garden in the flower beds. His favorites are the red geraniums...he is obviously of Schaar stock. My grandma ALWAYS has some red geraniums planted & there was even a time when she transplanted hers in Salt Lake to my mom's in Mesa over the winter! Crazy? Most definitely. But flowers are top priority & my grandpa had them wrapped to a tee to protect them on the drive. Classic.

We've been spending loads of time outside enjoying the BEAUTIFUL weather. This is why I love Arizona! It is ever so pleasant every afternoon & I love to be outside. We probably spend a good hour everyday doing something...anything outside. Our favorite pastime of late has been going on "walks." Zack loves pushing his lion along & doing a few laps around the yard. He will usually make a few pit stops at the cracked concrete, flowerbeds & of course the gravel...he must stop to try & eat each one before he can proceed & the process can not be hurried or skipped.

My mom will typically join us for part of our outside lounging & a Sonic Diet Coke usually accompanies her. Zack has obviously grown quite fond of the "brown drink." Don't worry peeps...we really don't let him drink it. But he does love the ice laced with some DC!

The other day Zack & I went for a jog that I wish I could classify as a run, but really? It was a jog. When we got home we spent some quality time on the lawn visiting with friends & neighbors. Zack very much enjoyed playing with his stroller & in fact, climbed into the basket. As you can see, he quite enjoyed himself there...

even with his face smashed against the netting. This is just one of many things he has managed to climb into, on top of, or over lately.

Yes...climbing is in full swing.
In other news...Zack as officially "graduated" from his infant car seat...yes, the ones you can carry...into a forward facing seat. WooHoo!

We are totally moving up in the world...it only took us 1 year to get to this point. Mind you my friend, Karolyn's, 3 month old weighs 3 pounds less than Zack. He's a Boyer through & through and to be honest, I loved that carrier! It was such a breeze to travel with! As you can see Zack was happy as a peach in his new seat.
As much as he has grown the last couple months...the monkey still solves most, if not all problems.

He gets so excited when that thing comes out of the crib! It is so funny & sweet that I can't help but let him have it...especially when dad has been out of town! On this particular day we were playing in his room & he stood up on the outside of his crib & his whole face lit up when he saw his monkey in there. He got so excited, jumping & started trying to yank it through the bars. I love that he is at least cuddly with something...it gives us both a moment to catch our breaths until he is on to his next adventure.
