All is quiet on the home front. Good gracious we may have had success. Sorry for all the tears scoobster...but really, it's best for the both of us if you get some sleep.
yay! I totally understand you. I am a nap nazi too. I really don't understand how parents and toddlers can function without a schedule and routine. It is a must for us! I hate when they have to get readjusted because of all the crying involved, but really its best for the sanity of you both!
you're a fabulous tough mommy amy. good for you for sticking for what you know is best for little Z. kids who learn to sleep on their own and happy kids! call if you need to vent!!
Oh Mommy I know it's not kind to laugh. But I LOVED your last posts- and you're an amazing writer, to boot. Poor little Z and and POOOR MOMMY!! I join you in the ranks of nap nazi. For real, our life/schedule REVOLVES around nap time. So I was feeling your pain in the corrupted schedule-really, I was. I think I even got sweaty palms and naughteous. However, By the looks of Z's bright, beautiful eyes today, all must be well with the sleep/naps again? Great to see you and now I'm off to find your sis' photo site!! Take care of yourself, my friend :)
I am a nap freak as well. I understand your pain. People always wonder how my kids both take 3 hour naps everyday. My answer? I give them the chance to... No nap days are stressful (we had one today...) Good luck! He'll be back to normal in a jiffy.
