Quilting.
I know you probably thought you read it all here. And while I have been known to be verbally abusive to her favorite hobby...I really love that she loves it.
I love even more that she loves to create things for my kids to love.
And who couldn't love this?
This is Livy's quilt. I've heard tell that it was a painstaking headache of a quilt...with the applique and such. {Are you impressed with my quilting vocabulary?} Both of my kids' quilts are done in 1930's replica prints...which I love love love! My mom also puts cute tags on the backs of all the grandkids' quilts. Livy's says this:

I spent yesterday morning washing Livs' all up for her & getting it all wrinkly {that is what happens when you wash a quilted quilt...it gets wrinkly}. Although, I have yet to let her "use" it. I've been tempted but then I think she'll just spit up on it & so I wait. Not certain what I am waiting for, but I kind of like it where it is...in MY room laying in its flat drying spot post wash for me to admire freely. Free of kid stink & wear & tear. Zack's quilt is wadded up in his bed & dragged around the house on a daily basis used for forts, capes & snuggling. I can hardly get my hands on the thing to give a good washing.
Maybe one day I will let the Livs loose on it...maybe. Until then, think of me admiring in on a nightly basis.
Soon Livs it will be yours to do with what you wish. I promise.

Love it. Love your mom. Love that Livs. I even shed a tear or two because I am a sap for loving things such as this.

This is totally random, but at the Sallys fabric on baseline and the 101 they have fabric that says Livs name, one is black and cream and the other is white and red. It is totally random and must be the designers name or something. But you should go get some!!

I love that quilt, it is so cute. Tell Deb i say she is awesomely talented. Oh and that note is precious. Olivia is darling.
absolutely amazing. I am in AWE. And what your mom wrote made me teary. Probably because I know what that will mean to Livs when she's older. How cool.
