Soaking up the Fall.

found just so.
what is not to love about this?

I feel like I have been absent from this little blog world of mine. But for good reason.

As much as I've noted that Olivia has put me through the ringer, I'm sure glad she's come around.

She's forced me to slow down & just be a mom. My kitchen is usually a mess {bothersome...it really bugs}, my laundry usually behind, myself unshowered on a regular basis, dinner a haphazard event & toys, well, they are EVERYWHERE. While my chores go neglected, my time has been well spent.

The weather has finally released its death grip & there are a good 4 hours in the morning {granted we are up pretty early in these parts} and another 2 in the evening where we can be outside. Oh sweet day. We have been soaking up every outdoor opportunity...and when I say every opportunity, I mean it! I have found myself at the park at 8am on several occasions. Care to join me?

We only wish dad could be home to help us waste away our days like this...
photo courtesy of Zack...he's got quite an eye...not so much a steady shot.
Livs enjoyed her first rice cereal experience on the lawn.

Zack brushed up on his skateboard skills...it's been awhile, a long hot while.

And tonight? Well tonight we met the whole fam at the park for pizza & soccer & birthday shout outs. Have I ever mentioned that I can't wait for Zack to start soccer? Oh man. I could watch ballgames for absurd lengths of time. I really cannot wait for that stage of life.

Those are fun pictures. That night in the park was fun too. I have to admit that even though I go to my kids soccer games and its 100 degrees out I still love it. I was made to be a soccer mom. I bet you are too.
