Worth Remembering

Last night Zack & I got home late from Kevin's Eagle Court of Honor {yes it was Scot's 30th & yes we were at an Eagle Court of Honor...totally awesome if you ask me}.

Anyway, I was getting Zack out of the car & he could hear the crickets chirping. He asked me what that noise was & I told him crickets. Not sure if we've actually talked about crickets before, but he seemed to be in the know as to what a cricket was.

He bounded out of the car & headed to the front yard with this commentary...

Z - "Hiya crickets! I'm coming to find you!!! You hiding from me? Mom are they hiding?"

A - "yes, they are hiding, now come in the house." -- Remember it was late people!

Z - "Crickets where are you??? Where are you? I'm going to find you!"

A - "Zack...in the house...now"

Z - "Okay...bye crickets! It is time to go night-night. I will see you tomorrow, okay? Okay...you go night nights now."

Funny kid.

What a friendly boy. I'm sure the crickets appreciate it.

I love these thoughts of a two year old boy.
I got some advice from a organic cooking, health food shopping momma of three boys. She had all kinds of suggestions for Kyler in getting him to eat his vegetables.
I tried them ALL last night.
Kyler said "okay mom-I eat them but then I throw up on my chair".

Nice.

These boys keep us on our toes at all times, don't they? At least life with never be b.o.r.i.n.g =) !! Nope, not a chance.
