Girls Night.

This weekend was the Fathers & Sons camp out. As you can imagine Zack was thrilled beyond belief & counting down the days, hours and minutes until it was time to go. He helped choose his snacks, pack his bag & get everything just right for their adventure.

After the boys were gone, that left just me & Livs and we decided to make the most of it. We met up with friends last night for dinner & then a little shopping. She was the perfect companion.

It is fun to spend time with just her. So often she is living in Zack's shadow, that I miss some of the silly things she does. Last night at dinner she was playing with Zack's goggles {that happened to be stashed in my purse from swimming} and she knew just what to do with them...putting them off & on her head. What a crack up.

This morning in the bath I realized she is much more like her brother that I give her credit for. I would like to think she is fragile & dainty, but this morning's bath was more like wrestling an alligator. Thrashing, splashing & kicking about. I don't know if it is because we've had to keep her on such a short leash for so long with her skull fracture, or if she's just developed some serious spunk, but man she has all the adventurism of Zack, with the feistyness of a girl. She was not going to be contained this morning & found each crash into the water hilarious.
