Scot's sister, Kristy had her baby today & judging by his size I'm sure she's glad he's out & not in anymore! Whew! Way to go guys! We just got back from the hospital and I have to say he's a cutie bug for sure! He has great coloring & a little purr as he sleeps. Oh man, that purr is so cute. She had a scheduled C-Section this morning/afternoon & both mom & baby looked GREAT tonight! Really...he isn't beat up or smashed with a cone head. C-Section babies always come out prettier...I suppose that is the reward for having your stomach ripped open. Although now that I think about it, the other way may cause some ripping as well, which I am sure isn't nice...is there a reward for that other than the baby? Anyway, Kristy looked fab as well, really she looked exceptionally well.
She didn't have a great experience with her first C-Section, so I am glad this one is going better. It continues to prove my theory that the second C-Section is always better than the first (and while I only have one child, I've had 2 C-Sections. go figure). So for all of you out there with only one under your belt -- you're second one (should you choose to accept) will be better. I think your body just knows what to do & you know what to expect? Who knows, I'm not a doctor, but I've gathered lots of stats on this from other moms.
Anyway congrats to the new parents. He's a keeper!

I agree with you, Amy. Your second surgery is definitely "easier"... so that should make my third a breeze! *B
Congrats to Christy! I love brand new babies!
there is nothing sweeter than a new baby. (and here's to hoping that c-section number 2 is better than number 1 - that was not so much fun).
I hope you are right about the second c-section being easier then the first (I guess I will know in 12 hours or so).
