I'm happy to report we've made it out to the other side alive & well. Although today I crashed. And crashed big time & it felt really good.
I managed to cram our week full to the max so that I wouldn't have time to miss him or wish he was here {although it still happened} at least the Scoobs & I were having some fun & getting some things done!
Scoobs started swim lessons & while he cried for most of the first 2 sessions...now he loves swimming with Lauren & he'll tell you all about it.
We had more warranty work done on our house...this day involved removing & repouring concrete. You can see how Scoobs spent his morning.
We had friends over to play so their mom could run some errands. These are 2 brothers that are 15 mos apart in age...Scoobs is smack in the middle of them. Can you even tell them apart? Plus, if you don't have boys...this is how they play. They dig. They throw rocks. They eat dirt. And oh yes...they hit.
This fabric made up some late nights. Any guesses as to what the finished product was?
And oh yes, one night Scoobs was insistent we make cookies. Thank you Betty Crocker for making this request one that is easy to swallow on night 4 of your husband being out of town. Add butter. Add eggs. Cook. Eat. Perfect. While we had fun while dad was away...I was so glad when Friday night rolled around & I could be 'off-duty' for a bit.
PS: If you know my kiddos by name, that is probably because I like you. Please don't refer to them by name in your comments. Thanks!

I'm seriously crushing on that fabric... finished product please!!
I have that fabric. It's my "hooter hider" nursing cover. Love the name, I know! Did you make something else out of it? I love mine!
I'm so glad your hubby is back. You did a good job staying busy. Swimming lessons alone took more out of me than I was anticipating.
i have the same hooter hider..
so that is my guess!
i also have a carseat cover out of the same material.
popular fabric apparently??
:)
i need an update on this girl!!! post one on the fam blog.. I am dying!
oh Amy, I know your pain!! Kimball is leaving this week. Although I don't know the pain of having a child while also being 9 mo. prego. Hey, me and the twins already picked out a cute baby gift for you if that makes you excited! Kate picked it out and she insisted on the color, so I hope you like it! She would not allow me to make other suggestions. Also, I love that Scoobs always has his stuffy close (I know it has a name, the one your mom gave him but I don't know it). It's just like Alex...he has his elephant named Elmer that he has to sleep with and it has to go everywhere with us. I love it though and think it's so cute until Elmer gets burried and un-burried in the sand box...ummmm! Anyway, can't wait to hear the delivery news! We're excited!
Perfect boy description, Amy. Glad you understand ;) And yay for crashing! I may not be pregnant, but I still crash ALL the time. Love it. *B
