Zack woke up this morning at 7:30 am...not bad. But it became clear after several bouts of him crying on the floor he was still a bit tired. I had been thinking of what to do about his nap schedule because I was set to go to lunch with my dad today & Zack to go to my sister's. But the nap was going to be an issue. So at 9:15 am I decided to see if Zack was tired enough that he'd take a morning cat nap. To my great pleasure he was! YIPPEE! This allowed me to shower without the banging & crying on the other side of the door & Zack to be in good spirits while at my sister's. Double bonus! I can't remember the last time I showered & got ready without having every drawer emptied in the process. It was so refreshing. Even better, by the time I got back to pick Zack up he was ready for another nap! Could the day be any better? Well, I suppose it could get better if Zack weren't teething & running a fever, but hey...no need to be greedy, they make Tylenol for things like that!

Amy, you are hilarious. I get such a kick out of your posts. You write down so many of the same thoughts and feelings that pass thru my head during the day. Congrats on getting Zack to take two naps for you the other day. That is so nice!
