Busy

That is the only way to describe my day today. Although, it wasn't a stressed out, frantic busy...just busy. Lots to do & Zack's decided he's a single napper, so lots to do with less nap time. hmm. Today we exercised, watered all my mom's gazillion flowers, went to the grocery store so we could take dinner to the family I visit teach (it was fab by the way), swam with friends, picked Kevin up from school, took Kevin to guitar & visited with cousins while we waited, did 4 batches of laundry (mind you they are not folded yet, but they are clean), had a great family night compliments of my dad, looked for a house (because we still don't have one) and now I am watching the NCAA championship game while our neighbor's high school daughter is swimming with 20 friends in our backyard. On any other day, all of this may have kicked my little butt, but today I decided to just go with it. What got done would get done & what didn't could wait. Needless to say, some work stuff is waiting, Zack's toys are still strewn across the floor upstairs & all the dinner dishes aren't yet washed. Not everything went smoothly...Kevin was late to guitar & Zack ate strawberries & milk for dinner. Oh well. I think Conference this weekend was just the boost I needed for today & the rest of the week. Instead of turning on a movie while I cooked through Zack's nap, I turned on my dad's assortment of church CD's...my attitude reflected my choice.
