Did you notice it??? There is something new on my bloggity blog blog. Look for it...Yes. There it is. The little widget on the right. It says "I love Speek." Which I really do actually have fond feelings for it.
What is Speek you may wonder. It is a new advertising company I've been working on for, oh, um, the last YEAR. Okay...it's been even longer than that, but a year will suffice. So here's how it works. You join Speek. You fill out a profile. You receive advertising via our online viewer. You are paid $.05 for every 10 second ad you view. A beneficiary or non-profit organization of your choice also receives $.05 donation for every 10 second ad you view. You share Speek. You are paid $.01 for every ad your friend & her friend & her other friend views. It adds up. You go shopping (with a coupon you printed from an ad you saw on Speek). Everyone is happy.
If when you are signing up you realize the non-profit you'd like to support is not yet listed - email me & we will try to get them listed. For example...you might want to support your child's PTO or their soccer team. The goal is to get everyone involved in a cause they care about.
Now here is the giveaway & the requirements...
I am giving away 50 custom photo cards. You choose the occasion...although Christmas is around the corner, you might have a new baby that needs announcing. I'm cool with that. So you send me the pictures. I'll do the design. You'll approve the design. They show up on your doorstep...envelopes & all. I'll even promise you'll have Christmas/Holiday cards if that is what you choose before Thanksgiving...how's that for preparedness.
Now what do you have to do to get those cards? It's simple. Just click on the "I love Speek" widget -- join (there is no fee or membership stuff). add a widget to your blog. and leave me a comment (with your blog address) so I can see it in all it's glory on your blog. If you want 2 entries...add it to your facebook as well & let's be facebook friends! You can even add it to your husband's facebook for a 3rd entry. I will put everyone's name in a hat & pull out a winner. I will give you one whole week to do this. Giveaway ends Friday, October 3rd at noon.

I'm all signed up...put me in the drawing for sure! The only thing I can't figure out is how to add the widget to my blog. I went to speekback.com and clicked on share speek but no other link for a widget came up. Maybe I went to the wrong place. Let me know how to do it. I'm excited!
Hey Nat when you go to speekback.com and then share Speek there will be a link that says, "see all the ways to share Speek" click there. Then you will see all the different widgets to choose from. Choose the one you want & then click on the blogger icon & it will automatically add it.

I added the widget to both of my blogs and then tried to add it to my facebook account but I couldn't figure out how to actually get the picture to show up, it just shows the code, I have no idea how to use the stuff on facebook yet. I'm excited. Great idea!
i must be retarded because when i go to share speek there is no link that says "see all the ways to share speek." the only link that comes up when i click on share speek is "See this in action in this short video." Let me know if i'm going to the wrong place.
k i figured it out...sorry i struggle! i wasn't signing in! anyway, i put the widget on my blog and also on mine and derick's facebooks! i also put a post on my blog about it, let me know if it sounds okay! i am really excited!
Ok Amy I was successful...thanks for your help. I added the widget on 2 blogs and I will pass it around at work. Hope this goes great for you it sounds like alot of fun! By the way I love the bubble picture on the speek site very cute!
Okay, I added it and i'll do a post soon. But mine doesn't look nice and big like yours. How can I make it bigger?
okay I fixed it. Have them adjust the size a bit otherwise no one will see it.

I always wondered, why is it Speek and not Speak? The spelling Nazi in me is kept up at nights with this very question... *B
