While most of the world is preparing to hunker down for winter, we are planting our winter flowers! Winter is when we have the best flowers & greenest, softest grass -- summer, not so much. My mom always plants about a gazillion flowers through the yard & yesterday was the start with these two pots! She set out early to go pick up her flowers while Scot & I took Z for a morning walk. It is soo nice that the mornings are cooling off (to a refreshing 85 degrees). We were so excited for my mom to get home so we could plant flowers. By the time she got home the morning "coolness" was now the mid morning heat! We were sweating the whole time we were planting! We had to laugh at ourselves & our over exuberance for cool weather & send Scot on a refreshment run to Sonic.
Sweat or no sweat I love that the winter flowers are now being planted!

for sure- we are trying to do it every saturday... but I know next saturday is iffy b/c Sarah's daughter is getting baptized and I know I will be out of town... but for sure next time!

Is it really time for flowers? I think mine would just burn up! I'm giving it two more weeks. . .
I totally don't even have a green thumb and have no clue how to plant flowers..pathetic I know! Teach me.......j/k
