Yes for Marriage Continued
We'll start with how it will change the education that my son will one day receive in the public school system. Marriage will be taught as a commitment between any two people, not a man & woman. As noted, I don't think this is right & I think I should have the choice as to what & how he is taught the sacred principle of marriage. The solution may be to put him in a private school but, I am sure a private school will be under the same state mandates. Plus, as an Elementary Education graduate...I have a soft spot for public schools.
Next we'll go to religious worship...what happens when churches & congregations belief systems conflict with the state's constitution? For many marriage is deeply rooted in their religious beliefs, as it is with me. It is a sacred union between a man & a woma
Lastly, if we look at the history of the world, the idea of same sex marriage is quite radical. I realize that we are all fairly comfortable with the gay & lesbian community, which I think is fine, but as a society as a whole to accept & adopt same sex marriage, it is quite radical.
So to anonymous, I understand my opinion may offend & it may not be "popular" but that is how I feel & am grateful to live in a nation where I can express it as such. Thanks for reading & sharing your opinion as well.
Enough political stuff...we will now return to our original programming!

Don't you just love it when anonymous people say stupid stuff like that!! (I think you need to go private again)
I would like to add to the religion part of this post(if I may!!)
*Church including ours will be sued if bishops refuse to do same sex marriages (outside the temple that is)
wouldn't you just love being a bishop performing that marriage.
I never realized how much we would all be influenced if this law passes, our 5th sunday lesson was on this topic and our bishop read a LONG list...I was shocked -

The clear solution is to get the government out of the our marriages. Marriage is a sacred covenant between the man, the woman and their God. The government needs to mind their own business. But, since it won't I'm with you.

How exactly does it infringe on your rights? Oh wait...it DOESN'T.
