I love this picture. It melts my heart & captures him perfectly with his monkey. I think it is clear he has a fondness for his little buddy (which is how we lovingly refer to his monkey). He loves to hold his monkey & lately wrestle with him on the floor. Anytime we go into his room & he sees his crib the excitement builds until the monkey is released to play. Mind you if the monkey is not released the excitement builds to a full blown tantrum...so needless to say, we love the little buddy! Every little boy should have that one special thing they love & this is Zack's.I know in 10 years I will look back on this picture with fond memories of a little boy that loved to snuggle & suck his thumb & eventually fall asleep with this little guy & be so glad that I allowed him to. Sometimes it is too easy to make them grow up & not have comfort items, but to be honest, I love that Zack snuggles his monkey & sucks his thumb. It is a sweet innocence that won't last forever & I cherish that. I know someday he'll have to grow out of it, but for now it works & holds a soft spot in my heart.

That is really cute, austin has the mini monkey and loves it!! So I heard the play date got canceled, everyone must be sick.
