Cold, but open. And yes, those pictures were taken today, it was a balmy 81 degrees. As excited as I
was about summer, today I realized a few things I had forgotten. First, being hot car seats. ugh. double ugh. I mean you forget the freedom you feel when winter rolls around. No longer do you feel the need to make your Target trip just a quick 30 minutes. There is never the risk of burned chubby thighs in the winter, but oh in the summer? You'd better make that trip quick or after dark or you may be facing third degree burns. And the mall? Out of the question...unless of course your talking Scottsdale, they have covered parking. The confines of summer house arrest are starting to suffocate me. I remember! Also...another thing...I get grumpy in heat. Remembered that today too as I was sweating under my bra. I swear that is the thing I hate the most. I don't even have boobs to necessitate a bra...why must I suffer so! Oh well...here's to ponytails & flip flops...and yes, summer!

So since I haven't been here for a whole summer I had no idea what was coming. Thanks for making me terrified! What am I going to do with no pool and staying in my house with only 3 year old conversations and Brecon's jibber jabbish! Thanks for warning me, though! They need to make a special car seat mat that you can take with you into the store and when you come back you can simply place it on the carseat and you are good to go! Is there such thing?
I've been thinking about you in warm AZ as we are suffering through what seems like the one millionth storm of the season...we love Milwaukee, I just have to keep reminding myself that every day, we have great summers, as short as they are, they're great!
So, hearing about the weather in AZ is making us crazy! We have had one warm day of a whopping 54. I keep telling myself only 8 more months until finally a nice fall and winter in AZ. Hope you guys are enjoying it!
I'm with you on the whole why the bra issue. frankly, sometimes it's just not worth the extra layer! anyway, we gotta live it up now, because 80 degrees is perfecto compared to what's coming!!
I too am looking forward to Summer. But NOT an AZ Summer!!! Good luck with the bra drippage. *B
You're nuts, I can't believe you pulled out the swim suits!! I can't even imagine how cold that water was!! Zack looks like he was enjoying himself though. He's such a cutie I can't believe that little guy is 1!
